On 26th January 2026, our Computer Holiday Program students had an exciting and eye-opening field experience as we toured various ICT-related businesses around Kagadi Town. This activity was designed to expose learners to established ICT enterprises within the community and help them meaningfully connect classroom learning with real-world practice.
During the visits, students were guided by technical professionals running these businesses, who generously shared practical knowledge and real industry experiences. Learners gained hands-on exposure to essential services such as printing, scanning, and photocopying, and developed a deeper understanding of how ICT skills are applied in day-to-day business operations.

This field activity is part of the broader vision of KISTEC—to train innovative, resilient, creative, and business-oriented human resources that meet local, national, and international aspirations. Through this experience, students have been inspired, empowered, and equipped with the confidence and practical insight needed to compete effectively in the existing ICT market.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Sunlight Art Centre, Robins Bureau, New World Creative Designers Kagadi, and Computer Village for their support, mentorship, and commitment to guiding our students during this valuable learning experience.
